JULIEN DAVID CO.,LTD. is a clothing brand based in Japan started in 2008.

Born in Paris, Julien David moved to New York at age 19 where he attended Parsons School of Design. While a student, he began working for Narciso Rodriguez and eventually became his direct design assistant for the following three years. He then joined Ralph Lauren as a Designer in charge of tailored pieces for the Women Collection Label. In 2006, Julien moved to Tokyo where he started doing freelance assignments and two years later, founded his own company in Japan.

Julien works on unique and inventive concepts using materials such as silk, cashmere, specially developed natural and technical fibers mixed with digital embroideries and original prints to build season after season new ways to present high-end clothing. The collections are currently carried at top retailers across Japan and all around the world.

In 2012, after only 3 Fashion shows in Paris, Julien was awarded the very prestigious Andam Grand Prix and was able to beneficiate from a one-year mentorship by LVMH Fashion Division.

In 2014, Julien started a three year collaboration with Quiksilver and during the spring 2015 mens show he presented the first items including boardshorts, surf rash guards and wetsuits entirely made from recycle/sustainable fabrics.

Julien has been featured multiple times in French and US Vogue, ID Magazine, Dazed & Confused, The New York Times,, Elle, Ginza, Spur, L’Officiel, Numero, Purple Magazine, Glamour, Forbes, Interview, WWD, Wonderland, Details, Grazia, GQ, Pop, Le Figaro, Le Monde, Liberation, Modzik, Nylon, Jalouse, Lula, Marie Claire, W and more.

Over the past years Julien has partnered for collaborations with over 30 companies and creatives including:
